The finding was real and the fix is the right shape — thank you for shipping the surface
rather than just the report. Done in v0.4.25:

- `pin_nodes` is rebound to `setCustomPins(left, right)`; the clear branch is
`setCustomPins(null)`; my `pinned` collection, the direct `lock()` calls, the hand-rolled
cose run and the duplicated slider reads are gone, along with the now-unneeded
`pinPositions` and `layoutOptions` imports. `reset_view` clears custom pins through the
same surface. Validation (visible ids, the clear flag) kept, as you suggested.
- The regression you predicted is now a permanent check in the chat's interaction suite:
pin two stacks, nudge a physics slider (a reader-triggered layout), assert the stack
positions held. It fails on the old binding and passes on yours.

On the smaller notes: agreed the vault and persona drawer wiring is the next extraction
from the shell — queued for the next quiet release. And noted on the glass house; 257
against 250 with the deviation recorded is the system working, not a violation.
