The document folder: Agentic Workflows: How You Operate

Everything this estate holds about one source document, in one standalone folder that can be moved or copied between repositories without losing anything. The reader over it is at the document page; these files are the sources of truth it projects.

Where this document is used, and how well

The first pass, made on the day the document was written, so most of it records intended rather than established use. Two entries are worth reading first. The book's title is rated STRETCHED against its own body, because the book is called Creating a Book Using Agentic Workflows and its 27,002 words of prose use the word six times; that gap is the reason this document exists. The founder's memo is the source material rather than a use, and is recorded here so that the one-way step between the memo and this prose is visible from both ends.

The usage maturity model

A source document captures, when possible, the references of where it is being used and quoted, so that the document, and ideally its author, can rate each use of its contents. The rating is a judgement about the USE, never about the user: the same site can carry aligned uses and misaligned ones side by side, and finding a misaligned one is the mechanism working.

Level	Meaning	The test
Aligned	A correct use. The use says what the source says: a verbatim quote in its context, or a faithful paraphrase or derivation that the source's author would recognise as their idea.	Read the use, then the cited part of the source. Would the source's author say: yes, that is what I said?
Stretched	An ambiguous or loosened use. Recognisably derived from the source, but context was dropped, scope was widened, or a nuance the source insists on was lost. Not false, and not quite what the source says.	The author would say: that came from my document, but it is not quite what I meant, or it leaves out something I said mattered.
Misaligned	A wrong use. The use claims the source says something it does not: a misquote, an inverted meaning, an attribution the text cannot support.	The author would say: that is not what the document says.
Unrated	A known use that nobody has judged yet. Recorded so the absence of a rating is visible rather than hidden.	None. This is the named absence, awaiting a judgement.

For an agent

This folder is self-contained: source.md is a build-verified byte copy of the frozen original, extraction.json is the layer 1 local graph with gate-verified anchors, and crossrefs.json records the known uses of this document with a signed, dated rating against ../../usage-model.json. If you use this document's material anywhere, the honest move is to add a crossref entry for your use, rated unrated, so the document's steward can judge it. A rating judges the use, never the user.
